What is an Ideal Scientology Org?
Org stands for "organization." Our Major Scientology churches are called Organizations (or "orgs).
And an Ideal Scientology Org is a place that is completely set up not only to provide Scientologists with the training and counseling (known as auditing) but with many other services as well. And these churches are very much involved in helping their communities, with programs that address literacy, drug addiction, criminal rehabilitation and morality. They also provide Scientology Volunteer Ministers activities to make one-on-one help to anyone in need of assistance.
L. Ron Hubbard, the founder of the Scientology religion, described an Ideal Scientology Org many years ago, and over the past six years, Mr. David Miscavige, Chairman of the Board of Religious Technology Center, has given several speeches on the subject, particularly at dedications of new ideal Scientology orgs in New York, Johannesburg, San Francisco, Madrid, Buffalo and London.
